Hi! I am currently accepting custom orders! Most of my custom embroidery orders are for hankies, though I am willing to consider custom hoop art, banners, or embroidery on clothing. If you are interested in custom embroidery that isn't a hankie, please email me your request at email@example.com
Something to keep in mind. Everything that I create is from scratch. And that means that it isn't the least expensive option. I don't use an embroidery machine, I only use my hands to carefully create each stitch. What I can promise you is the very best customer service from start to finish, and custom embroidery that was made with the utmost care.
Here are a few questions to get started with your custom hankie request:
1) Describe the handkerchief design or text that you are requesting
2) What type of lettering (cursive, print, or custom)
3) What style of hanky (see photos below-12" straight hemmed, 12" scalloped hem, 16" satin bordered)
4) Thread color(s) (see thread charts below, or describe the color and I can choose for you)
5) How many hankies you would like to order
6) Date you need hankies delivered
7) Please note if you are outside of the continental U.S (affects shipping times)
If you are ready to submit your hankie request, email me your answers to the above questions at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thread Color Options:
Plain White 11" Scalloped Hem
Plain White 11" Straight Hem
White Satin Lined 16" Mens Traditional
Upcycled, Handmade, White Cotton Hankie 8" or 11" These are made by me, sewn with a rolled hem, and are beautiful and stronger than the above listed hankies.
Now in shop--patterned, hand sewn hankies! Email me for current options, or see what I have in shop
! These hankies are hand cut and stitched in my studio. Available for purchase with or without added embroidery.
Commissioned Visible Mending Projects
Do you want to commission a mend for your jeans or almost any article of clothing or bag? There are no cut and dry prices here. Send me an email (email@example.com) with an attached photo of what needs mending? Here are a few things to include in your email request:
-what will be mended?
-what is the size of the rip or hole?
-how detailed of a mend would you like?
A few things to consider:
-mends take a long time, so a starting price range is $50 for a smallish mend, and up to $500+ for a pair of jeans with multiple rips on each leg.
-If you aren't quite ready to commit to a full mend, you can purchase a made by me, one of a kind patch here.
I also teach sashiko style mending workshops, and share lots of tips and techniques on my blog.
If you are still interested, or have a few more questions, email me! firstname.lastname@example.org
